More features: tools we turn on when you ask
Updated on Sunday 18 October 2026
Some tools are turned on business by business when you ask, at no cost. What they are, how to ask from More features, and what happens if one is turned off.
Every business on Citauno has the basics from day one: the calendar, services, team, clients, your public page and online booking. On top of that there are extra tools that not everyone uses: taking deposits online, selling packages, paying commissions, sending WhatsApp from your own number…
Those tools are modules we turn on business by business, when the owner asks. That way your dashboard shows only what you use.
What a module is
- It’s free. Turning a module on doesn’t change what you pay: it isn’t an add-on and it never shows up on your invoice.
- It’s turned on when you ask. You ask from More features and the Citauno team turns it on for your business.
- New businesses start with none. You begin with a simple dashboard and add what you need.
- Turning it off deletes nothing. Whatever you created stays saved and comes back when the module is turned on again.
How to ask for a module
- In the sidebar, at the end of Tools, tap More features.
- Under Available you see the modules your business doesn’t have yet, each with a line explaining what it does.
- Tap Ask to turn on next to the one you want. WhatsApp opens with a message to Citauno already written, naming the module and your business: “Hi, I’d like to turn on … for my business …”.
- Send the message. We reply on WhatsApp.
Once we turn it on, it shows up straight away, without signing out. A few, like tpago or your own WhatsApp number, then need you to connect your account. The module moves to the On for your business list, with an Open button that takes you to its screen, and its entry appears in the sidebar (for the ones that have one). If you already have them all, the page says “Your business already has every available feature.”
If you open the screen of a module you don’t have
It can happen with a bookmark or an old link. Citauno doesn’t show you an error: it takes you to More features with the notice “… isn’t turned on for your business. You can ask for it here, at no cost.” A manager is taken to the Dashboard and told to ask whoever runs the business.
Turning a module off deletes nothing
Only the Citauno team turns modules on and off: there’s no switch in your dashboard. If you want one turned off, message us on the same WhatsApp.
When a module is turned off, it stops creating new things, but whatever already exists stays saved. If it’s turned on again, everything is where you left it. Below, each module says what keeps working while it’s off.
What existing businesses already had
Modules started working this way on October 13, 2026:
- Discount codes, the Links page and Commissions were left on for every business that existed that day.
- Of the other modules, each business kept the ones it was already using.
- Businesses created after that start with none and ask from More features.
The modules
This is the order they appear in on More features. If yours is an events business, the only one that applies is WhatsApp from your own number.
Online payments with tpago
Ask for a deposit or the full price at booking, charged through your own tpago merchant account (Paraguay only).
- Where it shows up: the Online payments (tpago) entry in the sidebar, where you connect your account; the Online payments (deposit / prepay) section in Settings; and each service’s deposit in its form. Your clients see the button to pay when they book.
- If it’s turned off: new bookings stop asking for a deposit. Payment links already sent can still be paid.
- Full guide: Deposits and advance payments.
Recurring blocks
Repeat a blocked time every week or month, like a fixed lunch break or a day off.
- Where it shows up: the Repeat fields of the block form, both in Blocked times and in the quick block from the calendar. When you edit one date of a series, you choose Only this block or This and the following.
- If it’s turned off: series already saved keep their dates, keep extending forward, and can be deleted. What you can’t do is create blocks that repeat.
- Full guide: Block time.
Fixed start times per service
Choose the times each service can be booked online.
- Where it shows up: the Online booking times section in each service’s form. It only limits online bookings: your team can still book the service at any time.
- If it’s turned off: the form hides the section and the saved times are ignored everywhere. They stay saved for when the module is turned on again.
- More detail: Service form.
Pauses within a service
Free the professional in the middle of a service, say while colour develops, to see another client.
- Where it shows up: in the service form, the Has a pause when the professional is free checkbox, with Before the pause (min) and Pause (min). The client still sees the full duration.
- If it’s turned off: the professional is busy for the whole booking again. Pauses stay saved for when the module is turned on again.
- More detail: Service form.
Recurring bookings
Book a client on the same day and time for several weeks, all at once.
- Where it shows up: the Recurring bookings entry in the sidebar, where you set up the series, review the dates and create it. It’s a module of its own: you don’t need to sell packages to use it.
- If it’s turned off: no new series can be created. The ones that exist, with their bookings, still open and can be cancelled or deleted.
- Full guide: Recurring bookings.
Packages
Sell prepaid session packages and draw on them at each booking.
- Where it shows up: the Packages entry in the sidebar, where you build the catalogue and assign packages to your clients. Each client sees theirs under My packages, in their account.
- If it’s turned off: packages already sold keep their balance and still expire on their date, but they aren’t drawn on for new bookings while it’s off.
- Full guide: Prepaid session packages.
Discount codes
Create discount and referral codes your clients use when booking online.
- Where it shows up: the Discounts entry in the sidebar, and the Discount code (optional) field on your booking page.
- If it’s turned off: the field disappears from the booking page and a new code no longer applies. Bookings that already carry a code keep it.
- Full guide: Discount codes & referrals.
Link-in-bio page
A page with your links for your Instagram bio, with the booking button at the top.
- Where it shows up: the Links page entry in the sidebar, and your public page at
citauno.com/l/your-business. - If it’s turned off: that address takes visitors to your profile, so the link in your bio keeps working.
- Full guide: A links page for your bio.
Commissions
Each professional’s commission per service, with a report by period.
- Where it shows up: the Commissions entry in the sidebar, with the report by period and each professional’s detail; the Commissions section in Settings, with the business’s Default commission (%); the same field on each professional’s form; and the Commission this month card on their Performance tab.
- If it’s turned off: commissions keep being recorded on every booking. Turn it back on and you see the whole history.
- More detail: Business settings.
Analytics
Occupancy, revenue, clients and team performance, charted by period.
- Where it shows up: the Analytics entry in the sidebar.
- If it’s turned off: that page is hidden. The numbers on the Dashboard don’t depend on this module.
WhatsApp from your own number
Send reminders and notices from your business’s own WhatsApp number.
- Where it shows up: in WhatsApp, Reminders tab, the Your own WhatsApp number section, where you connect your number with Meta and choose which number messages go out from. Without the module, everything goes out from Citauno’s number.
- If it’s turned off: the business goes back to sending from Citauno’s number. Your number’s connection is kept.
- Full guide: Connect your own WhatsApp with Embedded Signup.
Team notifications (trial)
New bookings, cancellations and the next appointment on the team’s phones and computers, without spending WhatsApp credits.
- Not listed in More features yet: we’re trying it out with a few businesses. If you’re interested, message us on WhatsApp.
- Where it shows up: the Notifications entry in the side menu, in the business panel and in each professional’s calendar.
- If it’s switched off: no new notifications are sent and the entry goes away. The inbox, everyone’s choices and their devices are kept.
- Full guide: Team notifications.
