Refer and earn: invite businesses and get money off your invoice

Know someone who runs a salon, a barbershop or a spa? Invite them to Citauno. When that business pays its first invoice, we take the same amount it paid off your next invoice. Citauno pays for the discount, so it costs nobody anything.

The business you invite gets something too: a 30-day free trial instead of 15 days.

Where your link is

Open Refer and earn in the side menu (there is also a shortcut on Subscription). The owner and admins can see it.

There you have:

• Your invitation link, with a button to copy it.
• Share on WhatsApp, with the message already written.
• Your QR code, to show on your phone or to download and print for your front desk.
• Your code (for example BARBERIAJAGUA-7K2), in case the other person signs up from another device.

How it works

1. Share your link or your QR code. Whoever opens it sees a page saying you invited them.
2. They sign up whenever they like. We keep your invitation on their device for 30 days, so they don’t have to sign up on the spot. If they sign up from another device, they can type your code on the plan step («Did another business recommend us?»).
3. They pay their first invoice, and you earn. We email you when it happens, and the discount waits for your next invoice.

How much you earn

We take 100% of what the invited business paid on its first invoice off your next invoice, up to that invoice’s total.

For example, your business has 3 professionals and your invoice is Gs. 200,000:

• If the business you invited paid Gs. 100,000, your next invoice drops to Gs. 100,000.
• If it paid Gs. 500,000, your next invoice is Gs. 0. The remaining Gs. 300,000 does not carry over to the following invoice.

If you invite several businesses

Each discount goes on a different invoice, in the order you earned them. If two businesses you invited pay in the same month, the first comes off your next invoice and the second off the one after.

Refer and earn shows the line of discounts waiting for you and which invoice each one goes on.

What you see about each invited business

Every business that signed up with your link or your code appears with its status:

• Waiting for first payment: on its free trial. We show you until when.
• Discount earned: it paid; the discount goes on your next invoice (or the one it is in line for, if others came first).
• Discount applied: the discount is on one of your invoices, with a link to it. The invoice line says «Referral discount» and the business’s name.
• Does not qualify: it does not count, with the reason.

We only show the business’s name, never its owner’s details.

The rules

• One discount per invoice, and what is left over does not carry over.
• A real payment of the first invoice counts. An invoice a promotion brings to zero does not; the business stays «waiting for first payment» until it pays one.
• Your own businesses, your team’s, and businesses that share an email, phone, tax ID or card with yours do not count.
• If the payment that earned the discount is reversed before you use it, the discount is cancelled.
• If one of your invoices that carried the discount is voided unpaid, the discount goes back in line.

If someone recommended us over WhatsApp

If someone recommended Citauno to you but you signed up without their link or code, write to us. While your business is less than 90 days old, we can record the recommendation by hand.
